How to Play Advanced Fantasy
Football™.
Played in your own separate leagues
of up to 20 managers, where each premier league player
is owned by only one manager.
Advanced Fantasy Football incorporates the
following features:
Managers bid for players at the start of the season
either via our web auctions, or in your own auctions.
Then during the season:
Trade players amongst yourselves at free market
values.
Pay players' wages at 20% of your team value.
Receive gate income according to your position in the
league.
Expand your club stadium to allow additional gate
receipts.
The basic concept around which
Advanced Fantasy Football works is explained in the
following 5 points:
1. Each club has a fictitious bank account.
2. Three times during the
season (on 'Pay Days'),
clubs receive 'income' and pay 'expenses'.
3. As a result of the various cash flows (players
wages, gate receipts, stadium costs),
clubs nearer the top of the league will have
greater cash surpluses whilst those nearer the bottom
will have increasing cash deficits.
4. Clubs incur penalty points if they go
overdrawn on a 'Pay Day'.
5. Teams near the bottom will probably need to
sell players to teams near the top in order to go
avoid incurring overdraft penalties - hence a free
market for buying and selling players is established -
just like in the real world.
With Advanced Fantasy Football's exclusive system,
managers can enjoy negotiating sales of players from
one club to another.
